The Hour Shed is designed to bring people together in an environment where they can share skills and ideas to repair and upcycle furniture. It’s also a place to socialise and chat.
The Hour Shed works in tandem with the Hour Community’s Furniture Project which provides unwanted items of furniture to others in the community. The Hour Shed primarily enhances the Furniture Project by working on furniture that needs to be repaired or upcycled. Members undertake other woodworking projects too.
